Research Interests

This page outlines my research interests. These are based on my graduate studies at the University of the Witwatersrand, my work as a research associate at the University of Virginia and other interests while working or doing my post-doc.

Education & CITI Training

The Human Research Protection Program (HRPP) education and training in research ethics, regulations, and methodology are fundamental to the University of Virginia’s mission to promote the highest standards in human research protections. IRB-SBS education and training are targeted to those involved in social and behavioral sciences research.  The University of Virginia requires all individuals conducting research involving human participants to complete an initial online Human Subjects Research Protection training course and then to recertify every 3 years. Therefore, as since I worked at the University as a Research Associate (doing a Post-doc) I was required to complete an IRB-SBS Researcher Basic Course through CITI Training.
